COLOUR THEMES |
To understand what colours go together, lets look at a colour wheel. |
These are obviously not the only colours, there are different hues (paleness) which can be used. However taking the colour wheel as an example, you can harmonise colours in two ways. The first is to choose colours that sit next to each other on the colour wheel. Alternatively you can choose opposing colours from opposite sides of the colour wheel. Alternatively, if you're having trouble experiment by looking at the font colour or fill colour in a program like Publisher or Word, they show the spectrum and you can even place them next to each other. You can also just as easily experiment with the paper you're going to work with placing sheets together until you find something pleasing. |
